WTAPS is a Japanese fashion label founded by Tetsu Nishiyama in 1996, whose core spirit is “Placing things where they should be”. As a lover of skateboard, motorcycle and other street cultures, Tetsu Nishiyama also takes military uniform as the main line. We can see the perfect fusion of oriental Daoism and American military culture.

The A/W 21/22 collection maintained the classic military style and unveiled a series of shirts, trench coats, vests and caps. The cooperation with Akio Hasegawa and Seishi Shirakawa perfectly fused the loose City Boy style with the military accent of WTAPS. And the oversized silhouette better fits the current street fashion.

WTAPS still continued its signature letters in this season. These typed letters are understated but fun, which meets the conservative Japanese fashion.

Stripe and camouflage are also important in this season. Retro color-blocking stripes exude a street touch; military camouflage is fused with the street fashion brought by pockets and drawstrings to create an exclusive style for City Boy.
